BAGS-PLUS is a retail business that specializes in travel bags and other accessories such as wallets and backpacks.
Having multiple stores across Lisbon, they were running into a couple of logistics issues. Each store has its instance of POS software running, which means there are multiple databases with sales data, this is due to possible instabilities with the network connection.
This project's aim is to develop and deploy a platform that allows managing the sales and product data on all of the stores with dynamic database access, and with a custom product creation system that uses asynchronous processes to operate on all the selected stores as soon as a connection can be established, sending a notification to the corresponding user via email.
